Amalienborg Palace is the winter home of the Danish royal family and consists of four identical palace facades, the first of which was built for Queen Sophie Amalie and housed an early presentation of a German opera, thought to be the first such performance in Denmark, in a specially built, temporary theatre.

Located in Copenhagen, Tivoli Gardens is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world and offers a little something for everyone, including the harrowing Daemon roller coaster, fairytale garden and beautiful carousel.

Feriecentret Rageleje

Situated in one of Denmark's most attractive holiday regions on the north coast of the island Zealand, Feriecentret Rågeleje Klit is only 45 minutes drive from the city of Copenhagen and 20 minutes to Hilleroed, which is a very nice shopping town. There is only 30 minutes drive to Helsingoer (Elsinore) to get the ferry across to Sweden (20 minutes sailing). Nearby the resort there are many holiday towns and marinas, and a very beautiful drive along the coast all the way to Copenhagen

The Himmerland Golf and Country Club is the biggest golf complex in northern Europe, with a vast number of restaurants and bars. There are two international golf courses, as well as a three par course. Himmerland Golf and Country Club is situated in a beautiful area with woods and small lakes. Himmerland offers a wide range of golf schools, along with a number of activities such as bowling, squash, pool, tennis. There are indoor and outdoor swimmimg pools, saunas, fitness centre and spa.

Skagen, Denmark

In the far north of Denmark, washed on one coast by the Skagerrak and on the other by the Kattegat, lies the Skagen peninsula. Here seemingly endless sand dunes constantly move and change shape under the force of the sea and wind. The old fishing village of Gl. Skagen is now a lively artists haunt with many different kinds of restaurants and historic buildings. The attractive, balconied apartments of H×jengran lie in a sheltered position some 10 minutes walk from the beach.

Hotel Fano Badeland

The resort is located on an island just outside the city of Esbjerg on the west coast of Denmark. The island is only 12km long and 3km across. The island has beautiful sandy beaches, villages, restaurants, handicraft shops and interesting flora and fauna. Even at the end of the 19th century this island was a famous resort area. One of Denmark's oldest golf courses, is just next to Hotel Fan× Badeland. The ferry to Esbjerg takes only 12 minutes and here you can find a theatre, concerts, restaurants, entertainment, shopping and museums. A car is recommended to enjoy the area.

Hotel Skagen Strand

Hotel Skagen Strand is one of Denmark's most popular holiday destinations. The resort has 142 comfortable terraced houses and is situated 500m from the sandy beach at Kattegat. Hotel Skagen Strand is built in the traditional Skagen style, with white brick walls and red tiled roof tops. The resort offers a restaurant, bar, playground and water park with a 48m high waterchute, a sauna and solarium. There are many different activities both for indoor and outdoor use, such as badminton, tennis, mini golf, petanque, basketball, volley ball and football.

Huset pa Havnepladsen

Skagen is the nothernmost town of Denmark situated on a narrow spit of land separating the Skagerrak from the Kattegat. Huset Pâ Havnepladsen is at the harbour and only 1km from the centre of the town, close to all amenities and convenient for the beach. The town has long been favoured by artists because of the quality of the light, reflected by the sea and vast sand dunes, and it still has a thriving art colony. Visit the old fishermens' houses and museum, the tallest lighthouse in Denmark and Drachmanns House.

Skagen is in an area of some 50km of broad, sandy beaches, heaths and dunes, known for its old, traditional buildings and cultural institutions. Visitors enjoy all kind of shops, golf courses, deep-sea fishing and hiking. On-site at the resort there is tennis, a playground and a cafe. Jeckels Gl. Skagen is 5km from Skagen in a building dating back to the 19th century. The apartments combine old charm and modern comfort, each with its own individual character. The beautiful beach is about 200 metres away.

Lokken Badehotel

Osterso Faergegard

Kalvehave is in southern Zealand, near the island of Mon. Copenhagen lies within an hour's drive from the resort. Castles, museums, villages, beaches and a safari park are within easy reach. The units at Osterso Faergegaard are built around and within a refurbished hotel which is located by the harbour and marina. Some units have views of the sea and they are all furnished to the highest standards, including television, video and a fully equipped kitchen. The resort is situated on a cliff in the old part of Skagen and most units overlook the sea, which is only about 100 meters away. Skagen lies at the far north of Jutland where you can visit museums containing famous works of local painters. There is a daily connection to Sweden and Norway from the nearby towns of Fredrikshavn and Hirtshals. The resort offers good opportunities forwalking inthe dunes and nearby countryside. Also thereare no green fees at the golf course 12km away.
