Idaho Resorts

Idaho is a mountainous state with an area larger than that of all of New England.

It is landlocked, surrounded by the states of Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and the Canadian province of British Columbia. However, the network of dams and locks on the Columbia River and Snake River make the city of Lewiston the farthest inland seaport on the Pacific coast of the contiguous United States.

The Pines at Island Park

The Pines at Island Park is located in the heart of the Targhee National Forest and only a 25-mile drive from the many natural wonders of Yellowstone National Park. Accommodations are log cabins with gas fireplaces, private hot tubs, and upscale furnishings. The resort is open year-round, and is surrounded by more than 600 miles of ATV and snowmobile trails. Set in the west-central mountains of Idaho, not far from the Oregon border, Timberlake offers unlimited recreational and sight-seeing possibilities. Located on the edge of Payette Lake, the resort is just east of Hells Canyon National Recreation Area which offers camping, hiking, and fishing. The lake itself offers boating, sailing, and water-skiing facilities. Golf, tennis, and horseback riding are available nearby. The resort has its own outdoor pool as well. Just eight miles away, Payette Lake Ski Hill and Brundage Mountain provide excellent white-powder skiing.

Elkhorn Resort at Sun Valley has set its complete recreational amenities at the base of the Dollar/Elkhorn Mountains amid the majestic Sawtooth Range. Everything awaits, from telephones and ski lockers to tennis and a famous Robert Trent Jones championship golf course. Swimming pool (in summer only) and hot tub facilities are available, as well as a general store.

Vacation Int'l Elkhorn

Elkhorn Village is located on the high shoulder of Idaho's Sawtooth Range. In winter, Baldy Mountain offers the best in skiing with 12 lifts. It is accessible via the Elkhorn Ski Shuttle-Kart. Elkhorn's triple chair lift serves Elkhorn and Dollar Mountains from the village. Bus service between Elkhorn, Sun Valley, Ketchum, Baldy, and Dollar Mountains is available in the village. For summer fun, you'll find a Robert Trent Jones 18-hole golf course, 16 tennis courts, horseback riding, kayaking, river rafting, and hiking nearby.

WorldMark Arrow Point

Situated on "one of the five most beautiful lakes in the world," according to National Geographic, Coeur d'Alene is the very picture of a thriving lakeside community. It is the gateway to 135 miles of shoreline and all the boating, fishing, waterskiing, and swimming that go with it. The resort itself features an indoor pool, seasonal outdoor volleyball court, and a marina with a limited number of rental slips available (seasonal). Summer provides a perfect waterplay enviroment with 135 miles of shoreline and ensuing boating, fishing, waterskiing and swimming. Winter is certainly not a disappointment here, perhaps it is due to the 300 average inches of light Rocky Mountain powder providing skiers and snowmobilers with all the challenges they need. Coeur d'Alene is a sure crowd-pleaser for all.

Situated in the west central mountains of Idaho, Worldmark McCall offers unlimited recreational and sight-seeing possibilities. Located in the vicinity of Payette Lake and just east of Hells Canyon National Recreational Area, this area offers an abundance of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and numerous water activities. Golf, tennis, and horseback riding are available nearby. The resort has an indoor pool and hot tub. Just minutes away are the ski slopes of Payette Lake Ski Hill and Brundage Mountain.
