Minnesota Resorts

Minnesota is a U.S. state located in the Midwestern United States. Minnesota was carved out of the eastern half of the Minnesota Territory and admitted to the Union as the thirty-second state on May 11, 1858.

Known as the ""Land of 10,000 Lakes"", the state's name comes from a Dakota word for ""sky-tinted water"". Those waters, together with forests, parks, and wilderness areas, offer residents and tourists a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities.

Quadna Mountain Village

Located on 1,400 wooded acres, the resort has miles of cross-country skiing, snowmobile, and snowshoe trails and sliding. The uncrowded private beach and aquamarine waters of Sugar Lake are perfect for fishing, swimming, sailing, canoeing, and kayaking. All non-motorized boats are available free of charge. Enjoy fall colors, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, golf, and tennis. Tour open-pit mines, a forest history center, and the Judy Garland Museum and birthplace. The resort is located on Lake Mille Lacs in Minnesota's year-round vacation area, just 90 miles north of the Twin Cities metro area, and the world-famous Mall of America.
