The village of Warmbad (501m)is just 2km from the town of Villach, which is 500m above sea level, close to the Italian and Slovenian borders. This is a year round holiday area with many sports facilities and spa treatments. In winter there is downhill skiing within 12km, skating, sleigh rides and tobogganing and in summer, mountain biking, horse-riding, hiking, sightseeing, water sports on the lakes.
