Jean Lafitte, the notorious pirate and
patriot of the Caribbean, is the namesake
of this New Orleans locale. The two brick
buildings, built in 1831 by Lafitte's
fierce captain Rene Beluche, have been
completely restored, and living areas have
been elegantly furnished. Nestled in the
residential area of the French Quarter,
