Golden Waters is located in Kumarakkom, also known as the 'Venice of India'. The resort nestles in the backwaters of the Vembanad Lake with meandering canals and paddy fields. Designed using Kerala Architecture with rustic pathways and bridges, the villas are built on stilts over the canals. For the adventurous, there is the "Kettuvallam" or rice boats which are mysterious looking house boats which traverse calmly through these canals. "Vaidyasala", an Ayurvedic Centre, treats you to traditional massages. Pole line fishing and trekking form a popular pastime amongst visitors.
